It is safe to say I got a “little” (read: lot) sidetracked with the holidays this year. We got to host our first misfit Thanksgiving for our friends who also have no family here in Utah. It was wonderful to share the day (and the insane amount of food) with good friends. Andrew, Waffles and I also made the trip back home to the Midwest for the first time in a year. It was so nice to see family and some of our friends. I was able to fit in a few mini sessions while home that I will be sharing later this week. Needless to say, my next few session posts are well overdue.
First up, our niece Ava’s first birthday session! Ava is a doll. She is one of the happiest babies I have ever met, so laid back and always smiling (except maybe after two hours of photos…). Andrew and I adore this little cutie, we hope to see much more of her this year. Ava had some play time with mom, Nicole, and dad, Joe, before we broke out the birthday outfit and balloons. Enjoy!
Hugs. Love it.Nicole is so beautiful and she loves that baby to pieces. The shot on the left is so sweet to me. He needs to keep this on his desk when she starts dating.I snuck in a shot of my brother-in-law and his lovely wife. Love them both!I love how soulful this one is. I may be in the minority here, but I still love a photo of a child without a smile. It feels honest. Nothing sweeter than a little girl in a headband. She is getting so big! This one is my favorite and it was used on her thank you cards. Happy Birthday Ava!
